Annette DiStefano

Annette L. DiStefano, has 19 years of experience with Herbology, Iridology and the natural approach to health. She has studied under Dr. Bernard Jensen and other renowned Iridologists and Herbalists. As a Certified Master of Holistic Healing and Reiki Master, she has taught at medical centers, area colleges and consults throughout the Western New York area. She has written many teaching courses on holistic health, some of which have been made available to health professionals for continuing education. Annette is also a co-founder of The Holistic Center... on the Lake, located at 4909 Lakeshore Rd., in Hamburg.

Next door to The Holistic Center...on the Lake, is The Ground Up run by Joyce A. Slavo which in conjunction with the Center invites residents of the Southtowns to join their staff of professionals for a wide range of holistic educational experiences. The Ground Up provides the location to obtain herbs, vitamins, and natural products. The Holistic Center..."on the Lake" makes available many workshops, various classes and appointments from these certified masters of holistic healing. Lectures and learning sessions on weight loss, juicing classes, grief counseling, crisis services and pharmaceutical consulting are also available.

With choices of herbology, nutrition, reflexology, healing touch, shiatsu, feng shui, meditation and yoga, there are a lot of interesting and useful classes of information valuable for many with needs. Offering guidance on things such as woman's health issues, attention-deficit-disorder for children and other types of counseling, Annette and Joyce certainly cover a lot of territory for people from all walks of life.
